Margaret C. Handley is a true citizen of the world!
Focusing on New Homes Sales and Marketing, Margaret as the broker owner of her own company since 1987, has traveled the world in search of innovating ideas and builder techniques.
Margaret has participated in many aspects of the real estate industry through her frequent travels to China, Australia, and most of Europe. While on the Board of Realtors for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, she was involved in helping and developing the Polish Real Estate Market along with other board members in Warsaw in 1998. Her visits to China with the Chinese Land Bureau, along with other real estate professionals, proved to be a great insight and experience in seeing, and learning about bamboo scaffolding, which was a unique aspect of building at that time. How times have changed.
As the Chairperson of the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce, Margaret was instrumental in starting the Public/Private partnership for the city, and was voted Business Person of the year in 1991. Serving on many committees and giving back to the real estate industry has been the main focus of her career. Earning her MIRM designation from the National Association of Builders, her CIPS, CRS, and GRI designations from the National Association of Realtors make Margaret a leader in her industry.
A true specialist in new home marketing, Margaret will help builder developers, the local purchasers, and incoming international purchasers find exactly what their needs are and they can feel secure and comfortable with her expertise.
Margaret will be working and opening a new office in New Orleans this fall and hopes to help in the rebuilding of the area in 2010. Giving back to the industry and area you live in is one of her most important goals. As Margaret has worked and volunteered in the Washington Metropolitan Area, she feels she has the experience and insight to help others. In New Orleans she will focus on new homes, renovations, and staging for people who need this expertise, but most importantly helping the community rebuild after the natural disasters that have hit the area will be the most important role of her company.
